My journey with antiretroviral drugs
I was diagnosed positive with HIV/AIDS with 250 CD4 counts on December 2012. I had fever, cough and canker sores back then and a recurring mouth thrush.
I was prescribed and started taking antiretroviral drugs at January 2013. After few weeks, all went well. My fever, cought, etc gone.
At first, everything is fine with ARVs I am taking. I never experienced side effects so far. I’ve been at anti-retroviral drugs for 7 years. However, within those late seven years is not always good. I thought that if I had ARV, everything will be fine. Until, one day I notice some changes in my health. I easily got tired and sometimes dizzy. I easily got sick. When it is rainy season, I got flu. When it is sunny seasons, I got canker sores. At first, I just let them passed. Didn’t give a damm to it.
However, those illnesses become recurring to me every year. I then, started to notice that the more I take my antiretroviral drugs, the more my body deteriorates. Also I started getting fatty. My weight is normal but I have bloated belly and fatty face. I am fat but my weight is normal. The reason for that is because of the toxins from taking ARVs, for a long time, were not flush out by my liver. Instead, it is stored in my fat cells. That’s why, I become out of shape even if I am at my normal weight. It is then I started thinking to stop taking my ARV. But I am so afraid. It was just a thought but I never did.
My first attempt to throw my ARV’s FAILED
However, few days past, become weeks and months. I indeed, ended up throwing away my ARVs. I feel good about it as I feel like I’ve been freed from being sentenced to HIV/AIDS. Almost 1 month past without ARV, I didn’t feel anything bad yet. Until I noticed that my skin becomes dryer and dryer. So is my hair. My friend told me I am like withered plant that loses its glow. Then, I got fever. I was extremely worried. Without hesitation, I went back taking my ARVs. By the way, my doctor didn’t know that I stop taking my meds.
So here I was, back to my ARV again. My first attempt to quit my ARV fails.
Back to taking ARV and I got Pneumonia
So I continued taking ARV. One day, I got cough. I went to a doctor to consult my cough. This isn’t my HIV doctor. I assume this is just an ordinary cough since I am already taking antiretroviral drugs. That’s why I went to an ordinary doctor. I didn’t tell him that I have HIV. He gave me prescriptions such that of a regular cough, a kind of antibiotic. That antibiotic didn’t cure my cough.
I had a feeling that I have pneumonia. It is not confirmed since I did not see a doctor again. I just concluded, since it is not curable by ordinary drugs, it is Pneumonia.
I was thinking how I got this incurable cough, whether it is pneumonia or not. I was thinking it is due to my ARV’s. My ARV is very toxic. My liver could be intoxicated now because it has been 7 years taking my ARVs. That’s why, I coughed. Again, it is not confirmed since I didn’t tell my HIV doctor about it.
My belief that my cough is due to my meds is very strong. This strong belief or assumptions lead me to my 2nd attempt to quit ARVs.
My second attempt to quit ARV’s
So here I am again. I quit from my ARV again. My cough, indeed, is GONE. Should I say “I am right to say that my cough is due to the ARV I am taking?”
Just like on my first attempt, I feel so good on the first few days. I feel like I am relieved from being sentenced to HIV.
Then, just like on first attempt also, after almost a month, I started feeling unwell. In this second attempt, I experienced tonsillitis, flu, and fiver. I am supposed to go back to my ARV but I am already tired taking that meds. I don’t want to take it anymore.
Being determined to throw away my ARV’s
The feeling of being relieved from my HIV sentenced really sinks me in and I don’t want to lose that feeling.
In the internet, I saw comments of HIV positive who quits their ARV. Most comments are:
it has been 2 years I stop taking ARV and my CD4 is high
It is very enticing and I envy them a lot. How I wish, I could be like them too.
Now, I am determined not to go back to my ARV again. My determination is really high that it drives me to do something and find way. I then started searching for HIV medicines alternative.
My Journey with Curcumin: FAILED!
Upon searching, the first one that I discovered Curcumin.
Curcumin is a biologically active polyphenolic compound found in turmeric, a spice derived from the rhizomes of the plant Curcuma longa Linn. Commonly consumed in Asian countries, turmeric has been used for medicinal purposes for centuries. – https://lpi.oregonstate.edu/mic/dietary-factors/phytochemicals/curcumin
Here is a link that supports the claims that curcumin can cure HIV/AIDS:

I was interested with curcumin. However, you can not find curcumin in the supermarket or even online. What you will find is turmeric. Curcumin and turmeric is different.
Curcumin is a one of the component of turmeric along with other substance. It is said in every turmeric, it only contains 10-20 percent of curcumin.
Base on my research, you will need to take 1800mg – 2000mg of curcumin a day to treat HIV/AIDS. Imagine how many milligram of turmeric you need to take a day in order to come up with 1800mg of curcumin.
Even if I knew the difference between of turmeric and curcumin, I still went on taking turmeric/curcumin. I take 500mg of turmeric capsule 4x a day. I know it is not enough but I still tried. For the first few days, it works. My tonsillitis and canker sores are gone. I was so happy. I feel like I need to celebrate. Unfortunately, after 2 weeks, the symptoms went back again.
So here I was, my 2nd attempt to find alternative for my HIV/AIDS meds failed.
You can buy turmeric capsule here. Again, turmeric is not enough. It needs to be curcumin, 1800mg of curcumin. Imagine how many capsules of turmeric you need to take in order to get 1800 mg of curcumin.
My Journey with Selenium: VICTORY!
Since my first and second attempt fails, I never quit. I tried another way of getting rid of my antiretroviral meds. At this time, I tried Selenium capsule.
Here are the links that supports a claim that selenium can help aid HIV/AIDS:

Selenium is a mineral found in the soil. Selenium naturally appears in water and some foods. While people only need a very small amount, selenium plays a key role in the metabolism. – https://www.webmd.com/a-to-z-guides/supplement-guide-selenium#1
It is said that Selenium will block the virus from attacking our T-cells in the blood. In short, it will act as protective shields. It will not fight against the virus, it will just block the virus from attacking, destroying or mutating our T-cells. In that way we are protected from the virus. As long as our blood is high in Selenium, we are safe from the virus attacks. Thus, the virus cannot create further damage to our system.
I did take 200 micromilligrams of Selenium a day as recommended. If I feel ill, I take twice a day. Thus, 400 mcg a day.
Laboratory results are normal
The result is fantastic! My symptoms are gone. I feel like I am stronger like horse. And how many months already? Dude, it is more than a year already. Finally, I am relieved from being sentenced to HIV/AIDS.
I never told my doctor that it has been a year that I am not taking my ARVs anymore. I silently take selenium myself as an alternative. Who cares it works.
After a year, I had my regular laboratories examination (CD4 count, bloodtest, fecalysis, urinalysis, eye check-ups, hepa test, Xray, etc.) I never had viral load as this kind of laboratory test is limited in the hospital.
The results are impressive. My CD4 Count is 725 and the rest of the laboratories are normal.
Remember, it has been a year I never had my ARVs and my CD4 count is 725. That is impressive!
Finally, my endeavor to get rid of my ARV is successful. I am so happy and I feel like I am healthy like horse.
However, base on my experience, Selenium does not work with beverages, alcohol and anything that has caffeine. Everytime I drink coffee or any kind of energy drink, anything that has caffeine, my oral thrush occurs. During New year, I had few drinks – beer and wine. I was really drunk. The next day, I got tonsillitis.
Also base on my research, Selenium only works for someone with HIV at stage 1 or stage 2 only. If your HIV is already full blown, shall I say you already have AIDS, Selenium will not work anymore.
In conclusion, Taking Selenium at 200 mcg a day is really effective defending yourself against HIV. However, it does not work if taken with coffee, beer and other type of alcoholic drinks. Also, it does not work with people at full blown HIV- the stage of HIV we called AIDS.
Promised to become HIV Negative from being positive. My Journey with Blackseed Extract – SUCCESS!
My journey with selenium in combating HIV/AIDS without ARV’s lasted more than a year and I should say it was fantastic. It is really effective. However, it didn’t really last forever. The reason for that is due to its side effects. Yes, selenium really works in combating HIV/AIDS but it has side effects.
One of its side effects which I experience is bad breath. Another is hairloss. Aside from its side effects, other reason why I didn’t continue taking Selenium is, I found another supplement which is more potent than selenium and it has no side effects. I am referring to Black seed Extract. The main reason why I quit selenium is I want to switch to another more potent substance. That is Black Seed Extract.
Blackseed extract has also a promise not just to treat but cure HIV/AIDS. Base on study conducted, a person who take Blackseed Extract as remedy to HIV/AIDS becomes HIV negative after 6 months after taking Blackseed Oil. That’s the reason why I want to switch to Blackseed extract because it promised to cure HIV/AIDS.
This is the link where it publishes the study conducted to test how effective Blackseed Extract in treating HIV/AIDS:
So without further ado, I started taking Blackseed Extract at 10ml 3x a day. The taste is really not good. It is bitter and spicy. I take it with lots of water.
The result is impressive. I don’t have complain with Blackseed Extract but its taste is really not good.
With Blackseed Extract, I feel like I am living normally as if I don’t have HIV/AIDS. I don’t easily get tired nor dizzy. Everything is normal for me.
It has been 4 months Ive been taking this substance. As it promised to cure HIV/AIDS base on study conducted (Click here), I am waiting to reach 6 months. Then, I will have HIV test myself at home. I am so excited with the result. If I get negative, I should say I have successfully cured my HIV. If it is still positive, then I will just continue taking Blackseed Extract as my alternative to my ARVS. I will update you here with the result of my six month journey with Blackseed Extract. So excited!
It has been almost 2 years I am not taking my ARVs, more than a year taking Selenium and about to be 6 months taking Blackseed Extract. So far it is good. Though I am still positive (still promised to be negative), I am proud to say that I survived HIV/AIDS defying the orthodox.
